I noticed on google analytics that i had some traffic from "something awful", which i'm pretty sure means that somewhere in the vast forums there is a scatheing and probably very funny review about magus tales and it's terrible art- but i cant find it! Has anyone read it and know the link? I'm pretty sure its going to make me laugh so i dont wanna miss out

Due to final exams, final projects, and the general milieu of finals week, there will be no comic update this week. The best I can offer you is a filler image celebrating 2000 hits that goes up tonight and the revised page six before the end of the week.

I must say I'm a big shocked and appalled by Magus Tales' rating with such a decent amount of people coming and going each day. so please! rate and review!

so here it be. It took a few hours longer than usual because i did a good deal of it in color before i decided i didnt like it. I guess im just an old fashioned kinda gal.

i know ive got to start drawing my own speech bubbles but i obviously need practice - and I know some of the dialogue is a bit too small to be easily legible and will likely go back and fix and tweak; i was racing to make the upload in time for it to go up today.

pt B) the new page six however, is not making me happy. There was a big fight and we almost broke up last night.

pt C) horay for 2000 page views - ill bet a whole 40 of them werent just, you know, me- and thats worth celebrating! So im making a special thing to be posted after 29 goes up.

page 5 also so underwent the surgery of the cosmetic variety. Page 27 goes up the usual time somewhere in the vicinity of Tuesday. Once I have more than thirty pages and have redrawn the unbearably ugly ones of the past, I'm going to start advertising the site. woah! big step!

I'm really sorry to those few who actually come and go from here expecting an update- Page 26 has been sitting in the comic genesis system for 2 days now- and for some reason it hasnt done what it is supposed to do and appear on the main page. It's enough to make me want to move the comic.

So I've begun the reconstruction of the contemptuous page 17. -And the results are favorable. A shame I wasn't brave enough to draw rocks back then. Anyway that will go up either tonight or tomorrow night in place of a regular update, and then page 25 will probably be up Tuesday, April 28th.

yay for rushed color. I uploaded it at an astounding 11:58 last night - leaving me no time to finish the bottom panel or get rid of the microphone (which was a bad idea to begin with)

so this is all very sad, but it looks like Magus Tales! is on a weekly basis of late. Page 24 will be up tomorrow at midnight, aka Tuesday, april 21th. I'm planning on color, but ive lied about that in past so we shall see.

working on a new title image for Magus Tales! but thus far it really stinks. page 23 will be up Saturday morning. Just like when we was kids!

im going to redraw those background people in page 22.. and do a totally new page 17.

so ive been bad. First week of spring term has proven a bit heavy on the work load, and thus Magus Tales!'s updates have not been organized in a timely fashion. plus my hamster died.

anyway page 22 will go up either tonight, April 5th, at midnight, or tomorrow at midnight, depending on wether I finish the page on time for the automatic comic-genesis-inator. It shall be in color! And after it is posted, I shall spend time redrawing and uploaded pages 17 and 5, (as they are ugly) and creating a new banner for the website.

I added a chapter cover to part one.

In other news, I'm going to Disney Land for my 21st birthday.

In yet other news, I dont have a scanner over spring break so I'm not sure what to do about pages 20 and 21. Tonight however, I have decided that I shall attempt to photograph them and have at least one up by wednesday the 25th - i wont be able to get one up for the usual Friday update as I shall be wide eyed in the land of magic.

okay so all "ye of little faith" were right. Magus Tales page 19 goes up this morning at 1 o clock - comic genesis doesn't seem to account for daylight savings. so until next solstice, thats the new update time. oh yeah, and "ye of little faith" are right becasue there shall be no extra comic this week. uh, as far as can tell. I've been known to go back on my updates. virtually every one, actually. But the plan as of now is to use the extra time to redraw some of the particularly ugly comics of the past, and launch the "extras" page and put some fancy artwork up.

holy smokes on toast. Magus Tales! page 19 is so exciting, my socks literally flew off while I was drawing the dummy page. So! theres a good chance ill finish the page excitedly within the next few days, depending on how good a fight my conscience puts up in insisting I study for finals. Statistics, Musical Theatre History, and Art History; Politics and Culture. ALL ON TUESDAY! celebrate!

but i have faith that there shall be two updates this week. if ye have not faith, just come on friday like the other atheists and ye.

so I lied miserably. In more ways than one! A whole sandwich of lies.

page 17 didnt get up before the snowboard trip. and, contrary to popular belief amongst my brain cells, the page IS HORRENDOUS. I apologize for its ever insistant UGLY. but the story must go on. So hopefully, the epic fight scene over the next few pages will make up for it.

so now that google analytics has revealed the hard truth about magus tales' popularity, I lost my motivation to get an extra comic in this week. So it'll probably be up before Monday, and next Friday will still have a regular update.

My new blog excites me and so i try to come up with things to say on it. the site is ugly as sin but you dont need to hear it from me. hopefully it will evolve to become a higher more attractive form soon.
